3 Arrested On Drug Charges After Sturbridge Traffic Stop

On Friday evening, January  26th, just after 6:30PM, Trooper Sergio Figueiredo of Massachusetts State Police stopped a Chevrolet Impala on Route 84 eastbound in Sturbridge, for several motor vehicle violations.

As a result of an investigation, the driver, identified as 25 year old Davon Russell of New Haven, CT, was found to be in possession of cocaine and heroin. A passenger, identified as 29 year old Marquis Hines, of Hamden, Connecticut was also found to be in possession of heroin.  The 3rd passenger, 28 year old Miguel Nonossi of New Haven, Connecticut was found to have two warrants for his arrest for prior charges.

All three were placed under arrest and brought to the Sturbridge Barracks for booking and are scheduledto appear in Dudley District Court tomorrow for arraignment.
