4 Weeks Of Road Work Planned In Douglas

Douglas Police and the Douglas Highway Department have announced plans to begin road work this week.

Paving and Reclamation will begin on Monday, September 10th for a section of NorthWest Main St from Wallis St to Douglas Hill Way, as well as a section of Wallum Lake Road from SouthWest Main St to Wallum Lake State Park.

Construction is expected to last for the next four weeks.  While construction is going on the roads will be open to local traffic, but motorists should try to avoid the area and give themselves extra time.

The highway department asks you to “please be patient as we improve your roads.”
