Car vs. Tractor Trailer Accident In Auburn

Auburn Police and Fire were dispatched to Route 290 West near exit 8 late this morning for a serious crash involving a tractor trailer and a car. Crews are still on the scene this afternoon. The driver was previously trapped in the vehicle but has been taken to the hospital by ambulance. The driver’s identity and condition are unkown. Speeds on the highway are getting back to normal on Wednesday afternoon.
