The Lake 940 would like to send congratulations to Ted Avlas, who is retiring as the Assistant to the Superintendent for Business for Webster’s School Department on February 28th.
On March 1st, Monique Pierangeli will become the district’s new business manager.
You may remember Ted Avlas as serving many years on the Webster School Committee, or decades working at Webster Five, where he also served as the bank’s Vice President. Avlas was also a very important part of AM 940 over the years as a play-by-play announcer for various local sports heard on the station.
Now that he’s retiring, you think we can talk him into coming back to spend some time with us?
