On Saturday, April 28th at 8PM, Dudley Police and Fire Departments were called to Oxford Avenue for a report of a serious 2 car crash with injuries.

Officers found two vehicles with extensive damage off the road on the front lawn of 187 Oxford Avenue.  A utility pole was also damaged.

The driver of a 2005 Ford Taurus, 21 year old Timothy Ouimette of Cherry Valley and his passenger 22 year old  Melissa Darling of North Brookfield were transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

The second vehicle was a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 29 year old Robert Landry of Dudley.  He was also transported to the hospital.

After an investigation by police and accident reconstruction teams, it appears the Suburban was traveling south on Oxford Avenue when it crossed the center line, colliding with the second, northbound, vehicle.  Dudley Police say the cause of the crash is under investigation.  All injuries are believed to be non life-threatening, but conditions of the injured are not known.
