The Worcester Division of Public Health and the Department of Inspectional Services has entered into a partnership with Central Mass. Mosquito Control to offer comprehensive mosquito control services and programs throughout the area this summer.  The goal is to reduce mosquito exposure to the public and the potential for disease transmission by mosquitoes through education, mosquito surveillance, tire recycling, mosquito spraying and more.

Beginning June 4th, the Mosquito Control Project will begin their 2018 spray schedule.  You may request a visit by clicking here or calling (508) 393-3055.

Spraying will only be done based on requests received from residents in select towns.  Webster, Auburn, Sturbridge, Northbridge, Millbury and Worcester are currently being served.  Residents of surrounding areas are encouraged to contact CMMCP to register mosquito complaints, ask questions and request further investigation of mosquito areas.

Once a mosquito complaint is called in, a field technician will be dispatched to investigate this complaint. If the pre-determined threshold of adult mosquitoes is reached, a targeted application will be made in that immediate area.
