Popular Restaurant Destroyed By Fire

An early morning fire in North Smithfield, RI destroyed a popular local restaurant. The Coffee and Cream restaurant located at 4 Greenville Road (corner of Route 146A and Route 104) was severely damaged and will be closed until further notice. The Smithfield Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire with the help from surrounding towns.
There were no injuries reported. The neighboring restaurant Beef Barn, owned by the same family was not damaged. In a statement on Facebook, the owners of the restaurant thanked customers for their “love and support.” There has been no official cause determined yet.
