Serial Burglar Arrested By CT State Police

A “team effort” by Troopers of Connecticut State Police’s Troop D let to the arrest of 33 year old Sean Holmes of Thurber Road in Putnam.

Holmes turned himself into police on Friday, March 23rd, after 4 warrants for his arrest were issued after several area robberies last Fall.

In October 2017, police investigated four nighttime burglaries from  Thompson and Putnam area businesses, including at Harvest Moon on Liberty Highway in Putnam, Quaddick Country Store on Quaddick Town Farm Road in Thompson, Marika’s Restaurant and Big Gary’s Discount Liquors on Providence Pike in Putnam.

Holmes was charged with several counts of larceny, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and burglary.  He was held on a combined bond of $60,000 cash/surety and is due in Danielson Superior Court on Monday, March 26th.
