Southbridge Man Arrested On Drug Charges

On Thursday afternoon, October 4th, Detectives from the Southbridge Police Department executed a search warrant for narcotics at 23 Edwards Street in Southbridge.
Police say the search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of narcotics in the community.
As a result of the search warrant, an amount of suspected cocaine packaged for distribution, several pills, and various narcotics distribution paraphernalia including digital scales, packaging material, plastic bags, boxes of sandwich bags and cutting agents were also recovered.
23 year old Edward R. Krise was charged with possession with intent to distribute class B cocaine and with possession of a class E substance (Alprazolam).
Krise was held at Southbridge Police Headquarters pending his release on bail and/or his arraignment in Dudley District Court on Friday October 5, 2018.
