Webster Honors Officer Robert Rockwood

Congratulations are in order for Webster Police Officer Robert Rockwood. He was recognized tonight by the Webster Board of Selectmen for an outstanding job apprehending a domestic violence suspect last month. The suspect had attacked his girlfriend and mother with a knife before trying to harm himself. During the incident, Officer Rockwood showed great courage and disregard for his own safety when he breached the room the victim and suspect were in. Doing this allowed him to place the suspect in custoday which allowed Webster EMS personnel to attend to the victim and rush her to the hospital.
