Hard to believe, but Girl Scout Cookie season is almost over!  If you haven’t been able to get your hands on Thin Mints, Samoas or Peanut Butter Patties (or just want a few more boxes), THE LAKE 940 has learned this weekend my be your last chance to do so.  Girls from Troop 64941 of Webster will be out for the last official sales weekend on Saturday, March 10th.

Stop by and say hello at the Webster Post Office (339 Main Street) from 9 to 10:30AM, and the Webster Big Lots (116 East Main Street) from 2 to 4PM on Saturday.  Dudley’s Girl Scout Troop will be set up outside of Marty’s at 119 West Main Street from 3 to 5PM.

Sales are also taking place at the Dunkin’ Donuts in Uxbridge and CVS in Northbridge from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, Lackey Dam Shell from 2PM to 4PM on Saturday and 12PM to 2PM on Sunday, the Whitinsville Walmart from 8AM to 8PM on Saturday and Sunday and the Dunkin’ Donuts in Northbridge on Sunday from 10AM to 12PM.

If your travels don’t take you to any of those locations, click here for a list of other local cookie sites, or enter your zip code for more locations.

In addition to your well-known favorites like Trefoils (shortbread) and Do-Si-Dos (peanut butter sandwich), there are some newer flavors that have been introduced, such as “Savannah Smiles” which taste like lemon pudding, and S’mores.

Most boxes are $5 each, but there are some gluten-free and specialty cookies that are $6 per box.
