With snow, sleet and rain in the forecast for Sunday, officials from the Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade have decided to postpone it. Originally scheduled for Sunday, March 10th, the annual tradition will now step off on Sunday, March 24th at 12PM at the corner of Park Avenue and Mill Street in Worcester. Mayor Joe Petty’s Breakfast and Roast is still on for Saturday, March 9th from 9 to 11AM at Fiddlers’ Green Pub on Temple Street in Worcester. Read MoreThe Dudley Fire Department and Paramedics reported to a 2 car motor vehicle accident on Dudley Southbridge Road on Wednesday morning. First responders worked to free the occupants of the vehicles just after the crash that occured at around 11:15AM. Three people were transported to area hospitals with what is being described as minor injuries. A telephone pole was also split as a result of the accident. Crews are working to repair the pole and clear the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
