Police are looking for help from the public in identifying the pair. They are accused of using a ‘sleight of hand technique’ on a cashier. This time a vehicle left the roadway, jumped up over the sidewalk and crashed into a stone wall in front of 474 Main Street. The vehicle was towed away from the scene early on Saturday afternoon. Within minutes, flames were visible coming from the second story of the home and it was declared a 3 alarm fire. A 9-1-1 caller reported 2 people in a kayak, with one that dove into the water and never came back up. The second person was making several attempts to go under the water to try to find him.
