The ramp to Route 395 North from Sutton Avenue in Oxford has reopened after a serious motorcycle crash on Thursday afternoon. Oxford Police, Fire-EMS and Massachusetts State Police were all on scene. One person was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. No further information is available at this time.

Oxford Police and Fire-EMS responded to a vehicle off the road into a pole at the intersection of Main Street and Millbury Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon. Power was knocked out to the area for a short time while crews made repairs. We have not been able to get word of any injuries or charges that may be involved as a result of the accident.

At 3:35 PM on Wednesday afternoon, Firefighters and Paramedics from Dudley and Webster EMS responded to a serious two car collision at the intersection of West Main Street and Brandon Road in Dudley. Two people involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Traffic was reportedly at a standstill for approximately 20 minutes while the road was cleared and vehicles were towed away.

The Webster Opiate Task Force recently appointed Crystal Brown as an Opioid Outreach Coordinator for the town of Webster, and recognized her for all of her efforts while working at the Worcester County Sheriff Resource Center. The Webster Fire Department was dispatched to the Webster Senior Center at 5 Church Street on Monday afternoon because a small fire had started in the mulch on the property. A post on Facebook reminds people that the world is not your ashtray and to please dispose of cigarettes properly.
