He was in Dudley District Court yesterday facing 7 counts of larceny. Webster Police recovered the stolen covers from a salvage company in Millbury where they were allegedly sold by Lavallee earlier in the week. We first heard about possible missing manhole covers on Wednesday. Police began their investigation on Nelson Street that afternoon. Rescue 1, Rescue 3 and Engine 3 responded along with Webster Police and EMS. First responders stablized the vehicle and spent about 10 minutes extricating the driver from the vehicle. There are no word on the extent of the injuries or whether or not the patient was brought to a local hospital for further treatment.
