There’s a Winter Storm Warning in effect for the Webster area. 4 to 6 inches of snow is expected to fall on Wednesday.

PARKING BANS:
WEBSTER
Town of Webster Parking Ban is in effect until further notice. No parking on any town streets. Vehicles are subject to ticket and tow. Call (508) 949-3859 for updates.
SOUTHBRIDGE
A Snow Emergency Parking Ban will be in effect in Southbridge starting 7AM on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 and ending at 7AM on Thursday, January 18th, 2018.
Off-street parking is available at the following municipal parking lots: Edwards Block Parking Lot, Central Street Parking Lot, Wells Jr. High School at 80 Marcy Street and the RMV Lot on LaRochelle Way.
The Department of Public Works will begin clearing snow from municipal lots on Friday morning (1/19). Vehicles should be moved from these lots at this time to allow for clearing of snow.
Southbridge Police ask that you clear sidewalks and fire hydrants as required by Town Bylaw Section 7-406: “Owners/Agents of Property Abutting Sidewalks Required to Remove Snow”. This bylaw requires sidewalks and hydrants to be cleared within 12 hours of the storm’s cessation. Police will be ticketing.
Also, please do not place snow back into roadways, as this is a violation of the Town Bylaw Section 7-406.
