A husband and wife from Douglas were charged with reckless endangerment of a child. Their 16 year old son was removed from the home on 20 Arch Street by the state Department of Children and Families, after police found the teenager was living in squalor. George and Kimberly Campbell were arraigned in Uxbridge District Court on January 10th, and released on personal recognizance. They are scheduled for pretrial conferences next month. Douglas Police came upon the home back in October while investigating another unrelated case. Read MoreOn January 18th at around 7:30PM, members of the Connecticut State Police Troop D Quality of Life Task Force executed a narcotics related search and seizure warrant at 17B Saint James Row in Killingly, CT. The search warrant was obtained after an investigation revealed that 24 year old Tyler Ayotte-Pierce was selling crack cocaine from his residence. While approaching the residence the accused was found exiting the front door and was detained. Police were able to search the home and two children ages 3 and 8 were located inside. Dr. Jeffrey Villar will join Southbridge on February 12th, taking over for Jessica Huizenga, who resigned in July. The Telegram & Gazette reports his salary will begin at $198,000 per year. Deibby Garcia, his brother Japhet and letter carrier Erick Cruz were arrested on Tuesday after a long investigation by authorities. The men were allegedly involved in a trafficking operation that involved cocaine being mailed to Worcester from Puerto Rico. All three are in custody without bail and will face detention hearings in Worcester’s Federal Courthouse tomorrow.

The garage, located on South Road is also shared with visitors and employees of UMass Medical Center. Read MoreA 26 year old Webster man was killed after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a trash truck on Route 56 in Paxton. The road was closed for several hours while police reconstructed the accident and cleared the scene. The Telegram & Gazette reports Andrew Guay was killed when his car struck the truck owned by Republic Services. The driver of the truck was treated at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
