At 7:45 pm on Wednesday, a first alarm was sounded for a reported structure fire on Foster Court in the Rochdale section of Leicester.  Shortly after arrival, firefighters quickly requested a second, then third alarm be called.  Crews from Leicester and Charlton encountered heavy fire inside the building.  The fire was brought under control and companies chased hot spots for quite some time.  All occupants of the house were able to get out of the burning home on their own.  The American red across was brought in to assist the displaced residents. Mutual aid was also on hand from Spencer, Paxton, Auburn, Rutland and Oxford.  No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
