Kevin Crozier was sentenced to 6 years in state prison on Friday after pleading guilty to his part in burning down a home in Worcester in 2015. Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early Jr.’s office says the 31 year old pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit arson and arson of a dwelling in the burning of the single-family home at 11 Dixfield Road. Two co-defendants, Scott Phelan and Lionel Bermudez, have also pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing in Superior Court. Police observed a group of 4 young males tending to a 16 year old male lying in the road, suffering from a gunshot wound, near 1232 Main Street. The first accident took place on West Main Street. About an hour later a Cadillac drove off Tufts Hill Road hitting several trees and rolling over onto its roof. Read MoreJust before 7PM on Wednesday, May 23rd, Leicester Police responded to a crash on Route 9 near Soojian’s Drive. A 30 year old Leicester man had left the Walmart parking lot heading east on Route 9 when he collided with a 2005 GMC pickup truck that was traveling in the opposite direction. The truck was being operated by a 34 year old Leicester resident. The crash is being investigated by Leicester Police and the Central Massachusetts Accident Reconstruction Unit. The operator of the scooter was transported by ambulance to UMass Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
