5 Injured After Mass Pike Crash Involving 2 Tractor Trailers

Friday night proved to be a very busy night for the men and women of local first responders. The Sturbridge Fire Department, with help from Brimfield and Southbridge, were called to the Massachusetts Turnpike for a serious crash involving 5 vehicles.
A total of 2 tractor trailers and 3 cars had collided around 9:30PM causing injuries to at least 5 people. Those injured were transported to area hospitals in good condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
