Arrest Made In Sexual Assault Of 13-Year-Old Girl In Thompson

Connecticut State Police have announced an arrest was made in an almost 3 year old case that took place in Thompson.  On August 9th, 2016 police began investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred at 26 Central Street in Thompson.

At the time, it was believed 31 year old Emmanuel Ramos-Gonzalez had sexually assaulted a 13 year old female.  An arrest warrant was applied for and granted one year later on charges of with sexual assault in the fourth degree and two counts of risk of injury to a minor, but the suspect has eluded capture until now.  

This week, on Thursday, March 7th, the Connecticut State Police Troop D Quality of Life Task Force, assisted by detectives assigned to the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Arrest Section were able to track down Ramos-Gonzalez’s home address, 18 Prospect Avenue in Danielson.

Just after 8PM, troopers arrested the now 34 year old Ramos-Gonzalez without incident at his place of employment in Killingly.  Ramos-Gonzalez was held on a $75,000 cash/surety bond and was to appear in Danielson Superior Court today.
