On Wednesday evening at around 6:45 PM, Troopers from Connecticut State Police’s Troop D were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in Danielson.  The disturbance was reportedly between a female victim and a male later identified as 41 year old Kevin Horton.

When the State Police were contacted, Horton fled the residence on foot.  Horton was located a short time later on Main Street in Danielson and police attempted to stop him for questioning.  Horton took off on foot to an adjacent railroad and attempted to out run Troopers without success.

Horton was relocated on the railroad tracks, hiding in the bushes.  When Troopers approached him, he attempted to flee on foot a second time, but was quickly captured and placed under arrest.  Horton was transported to Troop D where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with an Investigation.  He was held on a $5,000 cash surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on today.
