Dudley Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspects

Dudley Police are looking for help from the public after they responded to a report of an armed robbery at Patriot Gas convenience store, located at 251 West Main Street.

Police say 2 male suspects, or a possibly a male and a female entered the store, one armed with a silver handgun.  The individuals got away with cash and cigarettes and were believed to have left the area in an unknown vehicle, possibly a pickup truck.

The armed suspect was described as a tall skinny white male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and black pants.  He was wearing black Croc style shoes.  The second suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black flip flops, and black gloves.

Chief Steven Wojnar says, “due to our proximity, we are in contact with Connecticut State Police Officials as they have experienced similar incidents in recent weeks in northeastern Connecticut.”   Police are requesting any businesses or residents along West Main Street, Route 197, to review any outside video footage they may have from between 10 and 11:30 PM Tuesday night.
