Native Grill & Wings In Oxford Abruptly Closes

The Hank Stolz Experience

Looks like the glass is empty for Native Grill & Wings in Oxford.  We were informed from an anonymous source that the restaurant closed for good today giving no warning to employees.

There are several servers, bartenders and other staff members out of a job.  The person we spoke with told THE LAKE 940 the closure is most likely due to poor management.   “It’s sad to see so many people out a job with no warning until this morning. This afternoon, left to wonder how to pay bills!”

Native Grill and Wings has already deactivated their Facebook page, and their website is gone as well.  If you call their location nobody will answer the phone.   A handwritten “Closed” sign was posted on the door.  We were told employees were asked not to discuss the closure.

The restaurant chain began in Arizona in 1979 and opened it’s first Massachusetts location in Oxford on Sutton Avenue across from Market Basket in April of 2017.

We have heard from several people who have unused gift cards to the restaurant.  We have been trying to contact the owners to see if refunds will be given.  Several diners we have spoken to say it was business as usual last night.  So far a message to the corporate office of Native Grill and Wings has gone unanswered.
