THE LAKE 940 thanks the Webster Police Department, Webster Fire Department, Webster EMS and all of the area first responders for the jobs that they do day in and day out to keep Webster a safe place to live and work.

The Webster Police Department hosted National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7th as a free community event.  Members of the town were greeted with a lot of free food, fun and prizes, with music provided by Webster’s Local Radio Station, The Lake, AM 940.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all 50 states on the first Tuesday in August.

THE LAKE 940 would also like to thank our sponsors, Vee’s Furniture, now open on Main Street in Webster, Outside The Box Escape Room, Marchand Insurance and Choice 1 Graphics for making our live on location broadcast possible.

Here are some of the great photos from the event:
