3 Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges In Sturbridge

On Friday afternoon, May 11th State Police pulled over a gray Ford Explorer travelling eastbound of Route 84 in Sturbridge.

After a license plate check, the vehicle came back as reported stolen in New York last month.  Police pulled the car over near exit 2 in Sturbridge.

As a result of an investigation and search of the vehicle over 1,000 grams of cocaine was found inside the car.

Three occupants of the car, 34 year old Candice Elliot of Laurelton, New York, 26 year old Crystal Giles of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and 30 year old Carl Francois of Elmont, New York were placed under arrest and transported to the Sturbridge State Police Barracks.

The trio has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, receiving stolen motor vehicle and possesion of cocaine with intent to distribute.  They are each being held on $10,000 bail.
