Boy Abducted From Webster Found Safe In Florida

A 5 year old boy, who was reported missing from Webster 2 years ago, was found safe thousands of miles away this week.
Police say Matthew Hale was taken by his mother, without permission, in September of 2016. Authorities in Orange County, Florida arrested his mother, 40 year old Christina Hale, and charged with kidnapping.
A Massachusetts court granted Matthew’s father full custody of him and police issued a warrant for Christina Hale’s arrest in June of 2017.
Deputies conducted surveillance on a home in Conway, Florida after a tip was received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children noting the mother and child were living there.
The boy was found to be healthy and in good condition when he was turned over to the Department of Children and Families. He will be reunited with his father soon.
