MARCH 9th UPDATE:  Michele Hearn tells THE LAKE 940 that the missing sash was found last night.  “It was found just last night – went missing from a table inside of the church last Thursday evening; discovered in an outdoor recycling bin last night. Lots of prayers for it to come home – prayers have been answered. Thank you, again! The outpouring of concern and willingness to help gave us hope it may be found.”

A local mom is asking for help from the community after a boy scout merit badge sash went missing this week.  The sash was last seen on a table at St. Mark’s Church on Boston Road in Sutton on Thursday, March 1st.  Michele Hearn says the church and surrounding property have been thoroughly searched but the irreplaceable sash has still not been found.

The sash belongs to a Sutton boy scout hoping to have his Eagle Scout ceremony in May and contains a number of medals as well as family mementos from generations of scouting.  If you find it you are asked to call (508) 277-2944.

THE SASH HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYERS, SHARES, AND KIND THOUGHTS!!!! XOLOST ~ BOY SCOUT MERIT…
