Industrial Accident Reported At Daniele Foods In Burrillville

First responders were on the scene of a reported industrial accident at Daniele Foods on Tuesday afternoon. The specialty food company is located at 1000 Daniele Drive in Burrillville, RI.
THE LAKE 940 has learned there was an employee with part of an arm stuck in a meat grinder. A portion of the machine that crushed the employee’s hand was detached, and emergency crews with the piece still attached, transported the patient to Rhode Island Hospital’s Emergency Room.
The identity of the employee, or his or her condition, has not been released. This story will be updated if more information becomes available.
