Leicester Police: ‘That Is Not a Golf Cart’

The Leicester Police have seen it all. Remember earlier this year the Play-Doh robbery suspect?
On Facebook the department posted, “I have often said that as a police officer you never know what you will encounter during your patrol shift.” Take a look at the above photo, titled “That is not a golf cart!!”
Leicester Police Officer Michael Lombardozzi conducting a traffic stop on Tuesday night on the third fairway at Hillcrest Country Club.
“As Officer Lombardozzi drove by country club he observed a vehicle on the fairway.” The operator indicated he thought he thought he had pulled into a field to take photos. He also claimed he was unaware that he on the golf course.
Police say there was no damage to the course and no charges have been filed.
