Webster Police have announced the arrest of 2 teenagers in connection with an armed robbery at the Sunoco Gas Station on East Main Street. The hold-up took place on the afternoon of Monday, September 6th just before 6PM. A 62-year-old female clerk was behind the counter when 911 was called. One of the juveniles was reported to have an electronic stun gun, according to police. Officers responded moments later and were able to take the teens into custody a short time later, with help from a K-9 officer. Work crews are on the scene of a serious rollover accident on Route 395 North in Oxford. The crash happened near Cudworth Road earlier today. One person was extricated from a vehicle and transported to the hospital for treatment. The highway is closed as the scene is in the process of being cleared. Dudley Police say at 7:20 AM on Friday, September 3rd a two-car head-on crash took place on Route 197, near 75 West Main Street. Officers found a blue Chevrolet Malibu in the roadway and a red Ford Explorer off the road. Both vehicles had heavy front-end damage and airbags had deployed. Police say the Explorer was travelling eastbound, operated by a 54-year-old female from Dudley. The Malibu was travelling westbound, operated by a 20-year-old male from Worcester. Webster Police Detectives are currently working on a missing person investigation. Police say 57-year-old John Connor was last seen on August 10th, 2021 in the area of Blueberry Hill in Webster. It was reported that he left his wallet and phone at home after an argument with his family. He is described as approximately 6 feet tall, heavyset and bald. It was an active morning for area police as the Worcester Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force and Southern Worcester County Drug and Counter Crime Task Force were in Webster to assist with an arrest. While taking 39-year-old Jarquin Dyshawn Baldwin into custody for an outstanding warrant, he escaped and fled on foot. Police say a foot pursuit began with help from the Massachusetts State Police Canine Unit joining to search for the suspect. After a search, Baldwin was taken into custody at Price Chopper in Webster.
