Man Arrested For Shoplifting With Fake Gun In Leicester

Leicester Police say a 42 year old Worcester man was arrested after attempting to shoplift from a local store.
Police responded to the store and found that the man also had a warrant out for his arrest. Police say the man was taken into custody on the warrant and shoplifting charge. When the officers searched his belongings, they found a replica gun and real bullets. Another charge of possession of ammunition without and FID card was also added.
The man’s name or the store was not made public by police.
