Mass Pike Crash Traps Tractor Trailer Driver For 3 Hours

A tractor-trailer driver was trapped for 3 hours after his truck rolled down an embankment on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
The driver, a 51 year old man from Bronx, NY, was traveling on Interstate 90 when his truck traveled off the right side of the road just after Exit 10A in Millbury.
The crash occurred around 7AM on Saturday morning. Crews from Millbury and Auburn’s Fire Department had to clear trees away before extricating him from the cab of the truck.
He was then transported to a local hospital after sustaining serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
