Police Searching For Man Accused Of Using Counterfeit Bills In Sturbridge

The Sturbridge Police Department is asking for the public’s help in trying to identify the male suspect in the photos above.

On Saturday, February 16th at around 9:30PM, a black man, wearing a black puffy jacket, blue jeans, and sneakers walked into the Stop & Shop Supermarket located on Route 20.  Police say he paid for groceries using four counterfeit $20 bills.

The bills were discovered by an employee of the store the next day and turned over to Sturbridge Police.
