Southbridge Woman Arrested For Worcester Stabbings

Around 7AM on Saturday morning, November 17th, Worcester Police were dispatched to Shamrock Street for a report of a possible stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers observed 31 year old Octavia Orcutt of Southbridge outside of a home there.  Officers stayed with her while others attempted to locate possible victims.

Inside a nearby apartment, officers located a male and female who were afraid to open the door.  The male was bleeding from his hand and appeared to have been stabbed, and the female had serious slash wounds on her face.

Police determined that Orcutt had stabbed the male and the female with a piece of broken glass after a dispute inside the residence.  Both victims were transported to the hospital .

Orcutt was placed under arrest and was charged with mayhem and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  She will be arraigned in Worcester District Court at a later date..
