Sturbridge Police Seek Pair Who Fired Starter Pistol Into Air

On Tuesday, March 27th around 8AM, the Sturbridge Police Department responded to Kelly Road at Route 15 for a report of possible gunfire.

Upon investigation by officers, it was determined there was a discharge of several rounds from a starter pistol in that vicinity.  Shell casings could be found in the roadway that were marked as blanks.

A witness reported a blue vehicle parked on Kelly Road with a white male and female standing in front of it.  The female was observed discharging the pistol into the air.  No further description of the vehicle or couple were provided.

The public is not in any danger, and there is no word on if any charges will be filed if the individuals are found.
