Uxbridge Police Department

Uxbridge Police closed East Hartford Avenue between the Granite/Linwood Street intersection and the Oak Street intersection from mid-morning all the way through the evening commute on Wednesday due to a serious motor vehicle crash.  Two trucks collided and it took crews several hours to clean up the debris and fuel spill caused by the crash.

On Facebook, Uxbridge Police praised the hard work performed by Direnzo Towing and Recovery to remove the truck and its contents and New England Disposal Technologies Inc. to clean up the hazardous spill and conditions.  Traffic was snarled for most of the day but is expected to return to normal now that roads have reopened.  Police ask that you use caution if traveling in that area because there may be dusty conditions.
