Webster Hydrant Flushing Starts April 9th

Starting on April 9th, the Webster Water Department will begin flushing hydrants throughout town.  This process will continue until all hydrants are completely flushed.  The cleanse will be conducted during normal business hours in most areas.

The water department says the program should be finished in 6 to 8 weeks.

The water department says there is no need to be alarmed as dirty or discolored water is normal as a result of your zone, or an adjacent zone being flushed.  If the water is dark or rusty looking keep it running until it clears out before using.

The Department is currently flushing zone 1.   Please consult the maps and street listings below to determine which zone you are located.
