Yesterday, shortly after the tornado was ripping apart Webster, we got a message with a very sad story from Tammy Christian.  She told THE LAKE 940, “a close friend of mine, Anna Mach, who lives in Southbridge, has a dog (named Blue) who is paralyzed from the waist down.”

She told us Blue is a 9 year old dog that needs a special wheelchair to get around, and unfortunately, it was stolen out of Anna’s yard on Friday.  She is asking the community to come together to help look for the missing chair.  Since Blue can’t get around without it, they are hoping someone will come forward and know what happened to it.

Tammy said, “We are using the hashtag #FindBluesWheels.”

She knows the power of social media – so come on, let’s help get Blue back on his feet.

As a result of the post being shared so much, Tammy says, “A very kind lady saw everyone coming together for Blue and just messaged me and ordered Blue a brand new chair.”  She is hoping that the person responsible for taking the chair is held accountable, and that if the original chair is returned it would be donated to another dog in need of it.
