Widespread Water Outages In Dudley
The South Worcester Communications Center and Dudley Police Department report that the town is currently experiencing a widespread water outage in town. As of 6AM on Sunday morning, July 29th, The water department has been called in and they are attempting to locate and fix the problem. At this time they say that there is no time frame for a resolution.
Police Chief Steve Wojnar tells THE LAKE 940, “The Southeast portion of the community appears to be impacted directly. Members of the Water and Sewer Department are aware of the problem and are actively searching for the source.” He says that several calls have come in for low water pressure or no service, but reminds residents to only “utilize the 911 system only in the event of an emergency.”

By Sunday afternoon the problem was found and water began flowing to homes and businesses again. If for some reason you still are with low or no water service you are asked to call the water department.
