Will Webster See A White Christmas This Year?

If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, you may be in luck this year!

According to new data from The National Weather Service and the latest forecast from AccuWeather, the Webster area is expected to see a moderate snowfall on Monday.

Early predictions show at least 2 to 4 inches could fall on Christmas Day, leading to tricky travels to Grandma’s house.  Some parts of Central Massachusetts could see 4 to 8 inches or more when all is said and done.

Massachusetts has not seen snow on Christmas since 2009, and the last time it snowed more than an inch was in 2002.

Remember if you have to travel in the snow, to go a little bit slower and clear the snow completely from your car’s windows, bumpers, roof and headlights.  More winter driving tips can be found here.

Have a happy and safe Christmas from Webster’s Local Radio Station.  AM 940 WGFP.

For all you snow lovers out there, an eye on the upcoming holidays this Monday. Light to moderate snow w/ a rain/snow…
