On Monday June 18th, Auburn Police arrested Bryous Sanders of Worcester in connection to several recent break-ins in the Pakachoag Street area of town.

Police pulled over a gray Toyota with only one license plate and noticed gloves and a small pry bar on the floor of the car at the passenger’s feet.
The passenger was identified as Bryous Sanders of Worcester.

Sanders is known to police from a previous series of breaking and enterings that were committed in the exact same area in 2015.  Sanders was convicted of these crimes and served a 2-3 year jail sentence before being released on probation recently.

Items were discovered in the vehicle belonging to the victim from Summerhill Road from a crime committed on June 14th. The discovery of these items provided some of the probable cause needed to obtain a search warrant for Sanders’ residence in Worcester.

The search of Sanders’ residence yielded stolen items from a June 5th breaking and entering on Glen View Road as well as footwear believed to have been worn by Sanders at both the Glen View and Summerhill Road crimes.

Sanders was arraigned in Worcester District Court and held on $2,000 bail.

Police say additional charges will be filed this week for his involvement in the Glen View crime.
