One Dead In Connection To Series Of Dudley Fires

Dudley Police and Fire Departments along with the State Fire Marshal’s office and the office of the Worcester County District Attorney are investigating a series of fires that broke out this morning.

One person was killed after a vehicle, shed and home all went up in flames.  Crews were dispatched to 48 Dudley-Oxford Road just after 7 this morning.

The person who died has not been identified, but is believed to have been involved with starting the fires according to the fire marshal’s office.

The 3 bedroom home was currently listed for sale at a price of $270,000.

A portion of Dudley-Oxford Road is closed off at this time.  More information will be updated as it becomes available.
