3 Arrested After Traffic Stop In Oxford

Oxford Police have announced the arrest of 3 people after a motor vehicle stop during the early morning hours of Thursday, March 5.  The 2 females and 1 male were pulled over at the intersection of Main Street and Barton Street.

Police say while officers were arresting the female driver of the vehicle for active arrest warrants, a male passenger fled from the front seat of the car.

In addition to the Webster Police K-9, a drone from Auburn Police, assistance was also brought in from Charlton Police and the Massachusetts State Police.

The suspect who fled was later located in a residential garage by the Webster K-9 and Oxford PD.

He was arraigned in Dudley District Court.  The charges against the other 2 suspects was not released, however Oxford Police did post a photo with several hundreds of dollars worth of cash, a bag of suspected drugs and a weapon on their Facebook page.
