CT State Police Looking For Truck That Caused Crash On Route 395
Connecticut State Police Troop D
On Monday evening, just before 8PM, Connecticut State Police Troop D was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 395 northbound near Exit 35 in Plainfield. It was reported that a white dual wheel utility vehicle was traveling northbound on I-395 in the left lane passing another motorist when it suddenly turned right to get off Exit 35.
That vehicle struck another vehicle causing it to lose control and hit the guardrail. The truck exited at exit 35 (Route 6 eastbound) and evaded the scene. Knox’s Towing arrived and removed the struck vehicle from the scene.
The white dual wheel utility vehicle should have minor passenger side front end damage with an unknown magnetic business logo on the door. Troop D is currently trying to identify that vehicle and who was operating it at the time of the accident.
