Body Found On Mass Turnpike In Auburn
Investigators are asking for the public’s help after a body was found on the westbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike near exit 10, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
The body, which has not been identified, was reported at approximately 10PM on Wednesday, August 29th.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the State Police Troop C headquarters at (508) 829-8326 or Auburn Police at (508) 832-7777.
The death is being investigated by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, State Police Crime Scene Services and Auburn Police.
A portion of the turnpike in that area was closed for several hours while the investigation was going on.
