Webster Receives $30,000 Grant To Upgrade Town Hall
The town of Webster has announced a grant of $30,000 has been awarded from the Massachusetts Historical Commission. The money will be used for design work to renovate the Town Hall that was built in 1927.
An architect is expected to be hired and will review and design any upgrades needed, including possible work in the auditorium and clock tower.
Once the plans are complete, the town has the option to re-apply to the commission for further assistance with the construction of the project.
Webster’s Town Hall, located at 350 Main Street, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
