Auburn Fire Department Shares Important Tip

After the deadly fire in The Bronx, NY this week, Auburn’s Fire Department is reminding local families if you are ever involved with a fire at your home, don’t forget to close the door behind you after exiting the building. They call it a “life safety reminder” that will give other people time to escape the flames and help to slow fire growth. It was reported the door was left open in the New York tragedy that took the lives of 12 people.
