Busy Friday Night For Sutton Police

Sutton Police

After Sutton Police alerted residents to take it slow on Central Turnpike due to road construction, it seems someone didn’t get that message on Friday.  One man, who’s name was not released, was arrested after the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a telephone pole on Central Turnpike by Lincoln Road.  He was charged with marked lane violation and operating under the influence of liquor.

Sutton Police also say a second man was arrested in an unrelated case on Friday night, May 4th, for unauthorized use of a vehicle after a resident reported their car was stolen.

In addition to those two arrests, the department posted on Facebook that they received 2 medical calls, assisted Northbridge Police with a runaway juvenile, towed a car and charged a woman with wrongfully attaching license plates to, and operating an unregistered or uninsured car.  Finally they were investigating a past larceny report of jewelry from a home, “all with only two officers working the road.”
