Douglas Police

It was one month ago, Douglas Police posted the photo of this dog that was found roaming the streets.

Since then Animal Control Officer Kevin Sullivan has been caring for him and trying to find his owner.  Even though his photo has been shared hundreds of times, nobody has come forward to claim him.

Now, the dog, who has been named “Douglas” is being placed up for adoption in the hopes of finding a forever home.

Douglas is a 12 pound spaniel mix and approximately 2 years old.  He needs a home with no children and someone with a little bit of dog experience. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.  Douglas Police say Officer Sullivan will be overseeing the adoption process.  Applications for adoption can be picked up at the Douglas, Uxbridge, or Blackstone Police Departments.

Completed applications can be left with dispatch and they will be forwarded to Animal Control for consideration.
